I love Zagreb because it has that authentic vibe, it’s compact and easy to walk around, and if you’re working on the go and looking for coworking spaces in Zagreb, you’ll find plenty.

While working from Zagreb, I almost felt like a local; if I could speak the language I think I’d have 100% immersed myself and achieved local status. For me, this is a place where you can really say you’ve traveled; as far as local life goes, you’ll feel it from the moment you arrive. And that’s what exploring new destinations is about at the end of the day.

Because the capital is such a digital nomad hotspot, you won’t struggle to meet other remote workers; it’s ideal for networking and meeting new friends. I met some great people in Zagreb from all over the world.

Out of all the coworking spaces in Zagreb, my favorite is HUB385. This is a sleek, modern, and very comfortable spot that offers everything you need for a productive day. It’s also very popular so you’re sure to meet other digital nomads there.

I really like the decor at this coworking space; it doesn’t have that cold, office-like feel and instead, is a more creative and inspiring space with an interior design to match. It has a pretty long-standing space too as it opened its doors in 2015 and since then, has become a go-to for many remote workers.

I found the internet very fast and reliable, there were plenty of desks to go around, comfortable chairs, and conference rooms available too. You can also help yourself to tea, coffee, and water throughout the day for free. Being very centrally located certainly helps this spot get quite full every day, so it’s a good idea to book ahead of time to avoid disappointment.

Coworking in Zagreb is a very popular concept, and Regus HOTO is one of the newer spots for digital nomads and remote workers. If you’re looking for a sleek and ultra-modern space, this is likely somewhere that will call out to you. I liked the feel of the office, and it’s very light with plenty of huge floor-to-ceiling windows, but in some ways, it does feel a little too minimalist.

Decor aside, the quality of this coworking space is top-notch and it’s a very popular place to go. You’ll find many remote workers here, although you can often find a walk-in desk, which is a big advantage if you’re caught on the hop and need somewhere to work from.

Regus HOTO is part of a chain across Europe, so it has a good reputation from the get-go. During the day, you can enjoy free refreshments, storage lockers, and on-site parking. I also found the chairs to be very comfortable and the desks are large and spacious.

If you’re looking for a laid-back coworking space in Zagreb that gives you all the amenities you need, I’d highly recommend Impact Hub. Although it was always pretty busy, I appreciated the homely and laid-back feel of this space; it feels creative and collaborative the moment you walk inside.

You might have heard this name in other cities and that’s because it’s a worldwide chain. That reassured me that I was going to have a quality experience and it didn’t disappoint. I was very productive while working in this coworking space, and found the chairs to be extremely comfortable.

There are also many social events organized by Impact Hub, as well as idea-sharing sessions and creative workshops. The interior is clean and functional, without too much fuss, but I liked the vibe, and the space felt clean and less fussy.

Another popular coworking space near Zagreb is BIZkoshnica, somewhere I worked several times. This is a great spot for idea-sharing and collaboration. I really enjoyed the creative, idea-flowing vibe of this space and felt inspired by people coming together to brainstorm.

The decor and general ambiance inside is bright, laid-back, and designed to feel like a creative space to wander around and let your ideas flow. There’s a kitchen, so you can create your own meals or take food and leave it in the fridge. You can also make tea and coffee, and water is free.

I’d recommend getting to this space early or booking well in advance. If you’re visiting with a group of other remote workers and you want to collaborate, definitely book ahead to avoid disappointment.

The only downside of ZICER is that, at times, it can get a little noisy, so this isn’t a place to visit for quiet and concentrated work. If that’s what you’re looking for, you’d probably be better off choosing another coworking space on this list. However, if you’re keen to collaborate, it’s one of the best options in the city.

If you choose to work from here, you can use the shared kitchen and lounge facilities, which are ideal for meeting other people and chilling out on your breaks. Despite the sleek appearance it’s a very cozy coworking space and doesn’t have that cold feeling that some modern offices have.

As well as being centrally located and easy to get to, you can drive and park for free, or use public transport, as it’s only a short ride away from the city center.

This is the best place to cowork in Zagreb if you prefer to avoid large-scale coworking spots and enjoy a more laid-back, low-key atmosphere. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants just outside, and it’s very centrally located, meaning you can reach it on foot if you’re staying in the middle of the city.

There aren’t a huge amount of facilities inside this space itself, but it does have supportive, ergonomic furniture and high-speed internet. You can enjoy free tea, coffee, and water during the day, and it’s a relatively low-cost option compared to some of the larger, more well-known spots around the city.

It’s a very sociable and dynamic spot, and although it can get pretty busy and sometimes a little loud, it’s a great place to mingle and meet other people.

If you like to work from cafes but need the office setup, e.g. chairs, great internet, and other facilities, this is an ideal choice. The chairs are very comfortable, and the tables are long, perfect for collaboration. Additionally, the internet is probably the best I experienced in the entire city.

You can purchase food and drinks inside the space, or you can take your own and use the shared kitchen. Free water, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day.

It’s possible to get a walk-in spot, but I’d recommend booking to be sure.

This is another space that is great for collaboration but if you do need to sit and work on something quietly, you’ll find plenty of peace and quiet to do just that. The only downside is that the prices are a little higher than most other spaces in the city.
